Pure Air: Why filter the air?

It must be remembered that in a clean enterprise the risks of accidents and injuries at work are less.

Oil mists, fume, dust and aerosol dispersed inside the workshop, in primis negatively affect on air health and sanitary conditions of the operators, as the particles with dimensions less than 0,3 micron may reach the alveoli of lungs, compromising the airway. Moreover, in contact with epidermis, they cause skin irritation, irritation and dermatitis.

Thanks to the high efficiency of HEPA filter up to H13, the AR filtrazioni mist collectors achieve very high levels of efficiency, guaranteeing safety performances:
– Concentration of oil mist coming out from the air cleaner:
➢ less than 0,05 mg/m3, 100 times less than the limit of Italian TLV and 10 times less than the limit of the strictest TLV ACGIH (0,5 mg/m3);
– Concentration in workshop environment:
➢ Less than 0,2 mg/m3 (frequently around 0,1 mg/m3) obtained during the metal working of dozens of machine tools, during the winter months.

At the end of work cycle, when the operator opens the door fume, oil mist and dust created during the mechanical processing of the machine tools come out, polluting the work environment. Even during the metal working, the micro-mists and micro-dusts tend to infiltrate and accumulate in the most sensitive areas of the machine, in the tool magazine, in the electrical panel and in the rear part of the guides.

Keeping a machine tool clean means checking its state of health, finding any problems and remedying them in real time. Oil mists reduce the efficiency of machine tools, since the stratification of pollutants affects the precision and tolerance of the measuring instruments, with the onerous consequence to increase maintenance interventions

The AR filtrazioni air purifiers don’t subtract air, they purify it! By HEPA filters, with a very high efficiency, without external emissions.

This aspect allows a considerable yearly energy saving, allowing the recycle of heated air in winter and conditioned in summer inside the workshops, with a saving of € 415.00 for each plant of 1700 cm/h. In Italy, each kWh of electricity produced generates 0.53 kg of CO2 (ENEL sources).

The savings on heating / air conditioning allows to avoid the generation of:
– 1,96 Kg of CO2 for each cubic meter of methane burned to heat the expelled air.
– 0,53 kg of CO2  for each kWh consumed for its refrigeration.

Realizing in a containment of CO2 emissions equal to 9,000 kg per year, for each plant installed.

It is essential to consider that the external expulsion limit of emissions is 10 mg / m3, an abnormality that causes the expulsion into the environment of micro oil particles that settle on the roofs and with the first rain washed and conveyed to the aquifers, creating further damage.
