The WWF comments in the words of the International and Italian Presidents on the text of the Encyclical “Laudato si’, sulla cura della casa comune’” by Pope Francis presented in the morning at the New Hall of the Synod in the Vatican.
Faced with this challenge with nature and the human family, we must respect our common home and use it with judgment and justice. Only by rediscovering our solidarity with each other, reducing waste and adopting sustainable consumption and production, can we save the planet, its vibrant diversity of life and secure a future prosperous for all of us.
