1 - RELIABILITY AND EFFICIENCY

AR Filtrazioni offers in its product range, 11 standard series, of which the ARNO series represents the core product, thanks to its heterogeneity of application. The first ARNO Series was created in 2000 to meet the needs of the high duty production (24/7 days) in terms of robustness, so that it does not incur in plant breakdowns related to prolonged operation (vibrations) and with few, simple, fast maintenance interventions.

The concept of reliability is of fundamental importance for AR Filtrazioni, which boasts a minimum rate of complaints equal to 0.0002% and has led us to develop oil mist collectors able to work perfectly with 24/7 workloads.

2 - EXTREME MODULAR DESIGN

The modular design adopted by AR Filtrazioni, allows the creation of filters that cover all the industrial filtration problems that can be found in engineering companies. Not only economic requirements are taken into account, but above all those related to air pollution by dust and oil mist in high duty production mechanical workshops, thanks to reliable products that are easy to maintain and which do not cause production downtimes.

The company has deemed it necessary to modulate each piece of equipment by integrating it in several stages. The last one is capable (by law) of retaining particles with volumes in microns below zero, allowing the AR Filtrazioni mist collectors to adapt with different accessories to varying filtration requirements, depending on the processing load of the machine tools.

3 - EASE OF INSTALLATION

AR Filtrazioni, equips every “turnkey” system with installation kit and installation manual, allowing its use in every part of the world.

4 - SIMPLIFIED MAINTENANCE

We have designed our systems in a way that they are easily accessible for both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, thus reducing any machine tool downtime during maintenance. The maintenance is quick and easy, with 60% of self-cleaning and/or washable spare parts. Maintenance interventions are to be carried out on the basis of the indications of the visual detector or pressure gauge for filter clogging, on average once a year.

For years AR Filtrazioni has been offering a maintenance service, working directly at its customers’ premises with specialized technical staff, who takes care of the maintenance management and hands out a declaration of a completed and regular maintenance intervention.

5 - 99.995% FILTRATION EFFICIENCY

AR Filtrazioni filtration plants are able to achieve filtration efficiencies of up to 99.995% for particles > to 0.15 microns. This means that compared to the environmental analysis carried out, the authorities in charge have been able to detect residual concentrations of pollutant detected at the outlet of the air cleaner and in the workshop, settling at 0.1 mg/m³, whereas the legally allowed value is of 0.5÷1 mg/m³.

6 - EMISSION REDUCTION of 9000 KG CO₂ for each PLANT

The increase of carbon dioxide in the environment and the atmosphere, increases the greenhouse effect and thus contributes to an increase in the average temperature of the planet, to which ecosystems do not adapt in time.

AR Filtrazioni has calculated a decrease of CO2 emissions equal to 9,000 kg per year, for each system installed with an air flow rate of 1700 m3/h.It should also be considered that the pollution caused by civil and industrial heating, is among the major environmental pollution causes.

7 - DECREASE OF FIXED COSTS

In other words, the possibility of making considerable energy savings related to the air-conditioning costs of the workshop.

Installing air cleaners of AR Filtrazioni on each machine, means reducing the fixed costs of heating (in winter) or air conditioning (in summer). In fact, the possibility of re-introducing totally healthy air, which has been cleaned from dust and oil mist, back into the workshop, guarantees a considerable saving on air conditioning costs.

On the contrary, conveying the air outside with a centralized industrial filtration system is equivalent to a constant operation of the heating system, with an increase of the fixed costs.

It is estimated, an average annual energy saving of 417.00 € per year, for each single system with an air flow rate of 1700 m3/h.

8 - COMPLIANCE WITH THE NATIONAL REGULATIONS DLGS. 152/2006 - DLGS. 128/2010 - DDUO 12772

Standards for the protection of the air and the reduction of emissions, extracted and treated with a filter unit which is mounted on top of the machine and which re-introduces clean air into the workplace.

An excerpt from the technical annex 32 is given, which states in particular that “considering the technological progress made in the configuration of the suction systems and their environmental and hygienic performances in the last decade, it is considered possible to return the extracted air into the working environment”, making AR Filtrazioni systems completely compliant with the law.

In particular, localized extraction units with re-injection of cleaned air back to the work environment, must respect the following technical-managerial conditions:

Based on this regulation, AR Filtrazioni has been supplying high and very high efficiency EPA/HEPA filters in compliance with European Standard 1822 for many years, guaranteeing a residual concentration of the pollutant detected at the suction outlet of the plant < 0.1 mg/m³. 9 - FILTRATION AT THE SOURCE

FLEXIBILITY
Modifiable factory layout: allows the insertion of new machines or the repositioning of existing ones.

LIGHT: minimum visual impact, maximum workshop brightness

SAFETY: does not involve the connection between the various machines and therefore avoids the risk of FIRE spreading.
Speaking of fire prevention, we report the example of LONATI S.P.A who dismantled the centralized system for this reason.

ZERO DEPRESSION IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT: AR Filtrazioni systems do not expel air, they clean it.
