Suction and filtration of AR filtrazioni industrial cooling systems
For industrial lubrication systems, AR Filtrazioni has designed and produced specific industrial vacuums and filters for the purification of the air from the oil mists produced during the lubrication process of metallic materials.
The oil mist cleaner suitable for lubrication machines.
Industrial lubrication systems have various application areas, ranging from:
1) application of anti corrosion sprays for protection of pipes and profiles to solve all the problems of pipes corrosion in the outdoor storage or during transport phases with large temperature changes.
The system is designed to apply the fluid in proportion to the speed of the line, ensuring the absence of oil mists thanks to the suction and filtration system AR FILTRAZIONI and the design that encloses the nozzles in a box, avoiding the dispersion of harmful vapors
2) application of coolant to facilitate the lubrication of the cutting blade. Objective of MQL technique (“Lubrication in Minimum Quantities”) is an adequate and controlled lubrication on the cutting blade, in order to eliminate the use of water, improving the working environment.
It differs from the common application of the coolant because it greatly reduces the consumption of fluids and extends the life of the blade over time; friction between materials is minimized with a consequent increase in blade performance.
3) Spray lubrication before or during sheet metal molding.
Shearing/straining of sheet metal must always concomitant with a correct lubrication: never print without coolant or as they say “dry”.
Sheet metal shearing is a cutting operation generating friction between hardening steel. Lubrication reduces the heat generated during molding machining processes, always harmful to the mold and the piece produced.
The oil modulates this friction, forming a protective film between the blades, making lubrication a salient phase by the regular application of a specific coolant.
The spray type needs more often suction and filtration oil mist system, avoiding the spray mists of oil escaping, very volatile, from the application area; first of all must for safety reasons but to re-condense, recycle and save coolant oil, too.

To reduce the production of oil mists to a minimum, all our templates are equipped with an AR filtrazioni mist collector with a high efficiency filter. To monitor filter conditions there is also a differential pressure gauge.
These are important informations must be taken seriously into consideration whenever you are going to purchase a mist collector for your machine tool.
Depending on the type of production and working processes required, it is presumed that particular types of pollutants will arise during milling machine working and consequently a suitable exhaust fan must be suggested.
The main atmospheric pollutant producing during during type of processing is oil mist caused by the sum of these factors:
– the evaporation / combustion of coolant and the consequent production of fumes, oil mists and aerosols (in the operations of cutting pipes or laminates).
– atomization of the oil caused by the use of high-pressure pumps of coolant during the spraying phase. The resultant of these two elements physically breaks down the fluids into particles, micro-powders and micro-mists so thin as to make them volatile.
The problem of micro mists if not held
The volatility of polluting particles such as industrial fumes, oil mists and aerosols, whether solid or liquid, entails and creates various problems for metalworking companies, operators and machine tools.
First of all, they negatively affect the health of the air and the health and hygiene conditions of the operators, in particular at the respiratory level, since the particles smaller than 0.3 microns can reach the pulmonary alveoli, compromising the respiratory tract.
Not only that, in contact with the epidermis, they create skin irritations, dermatitis and redness.
From the standpoint of production, micro-dust and oil mists pollution in the workshop considerably reduces the productivity and in particular the efficiency of the machine tools, since the stratification of pollutants invalidates the precision and tolerance of the measuring instruments, with the onerous consequence of having to increase maintenance on the most delicate components.
Dusts, oil mists and aerosols not filtered and purified, make the floor slippery, dirty the surfaces of the machine tools and the walls of the shed, on which they settle.
Without forgetting any possible fines deriving from current regulations, which impose a concentration limit for oil mists in the workplace.
Italian TLV limit 5 mg / m3
more restrictive ACGIH limit 0.5 mg / m3
